Dedicated to all those people, who saw the landscapes of Chukotka in different ages and centuries.
We will never know their names or their lives, but we can feel the same when we watch the red sunset,
the blue ocean or the white rocks of ice. Nothing has changed and nothing will ever change.
There will be no ethnography, no stories about whale-hunters or deer-breeders in our album.
We won't tell about the history of bone-carving or life of native Chukcha people. There are too many books like that.
Our album has another aim - to show the beauty of this northern world, to find energy in every single flower or a tree,
to reflect emotions of joy and excitement, which are the same for the people of all nationalities - Russian or Chukcha,
American or European.
This is a story about the land which was admired by first navigators and travellers
and which will be admired by next generations.
