This album continues Far East theme started in the albums "Eternal Sakhalin" and "Chukotka - the Territory of Beauty". This is the second project in format of eternal calendar. The first one was "Eternal Sakhalin", and "Kamchatka" by form will be it's exact replication plus DVD addition, our film "Such a sweet name - Kamchatka". So by the moment we have three albums under the series "Russia. Far East". We plan to continue the series.

Eternal, unchangeable Kamchatka. These great volcano rows haven't changed for thousands of years, they seem to sail in the grey metal waters of the Pacific Ocean for centuries. They were the same for Krasheninnikov, Steller, for our fathers and grandfathers, for Russians and Etelmens when they first arrived here. You will find them right in the same place.

This album is not a product of a tourist industry that is so famous in Kamchatka. There are thousands of high quality printed books and magazines of all kinds with beautiful photos of the nature of this region, and it seems that there is no end to this professional photographic competition, to this endless fight for the best photo or the most picturesque place. But there is lack of energy and spirit, lack of intuition and knowledge, and authors don't seem to do any kind of work with their minds and souls...

Our album "Kamchatka. The eternal calendar" is just a small part in a series of our albums devoted to the Russian Far East. In each of them we make an attempt to show you the life as it is, to make you remember your own feelings of the past or of the present, we try to open the eyes of your spirit, and lead you into the wild world of Kamchatka, the world of beauty and eternity.
